Genomic/RNA Profiling and Histology Core

Overview of Services

Welcome to the Monte Rio Genomic and RNA Profiling Core (GARP). GARP provides quality assessment, microarray services, and next-generation sequencing on already extracted nucleic acids. The facility provides researchers access to state-of-the-art molecular profiling technology and services, including:

• Microarray technology platforms (Affymetrix^® and spotted glass arrays - Agilent)
• Comprehensive Data Analysis
• Other expression profiling with Nanostring and Luminex platforms
• Sample Quality Control
• Sample Labeling
• Array Hybridization/Scanning
• Next-Generation Full Service Sequencing with HiSeq 2000, 2500, or MiSeq.
• Sanger Sequencing

This facility serves as the source for experimental design consultation, probe preparation protocols, and image scanning for spotted glass arrays (Agilent and custom) as well as Affymetrix GeneChips^®.
